☕️ Time for brunch. Smoked salmon bagels. 🥯

🥗 That moment when you open the fridge and realise you still have last night’s delicious leftovers available for lunch. Few things come close.

📸 I had a vegan friend over for dinner last night, so I obviously had to prepare something appropriate.

And this passed, with flying colours, apparently! Veggie fritters, slow roasted peppers and aubergine, garlic courgette and a side salad (which he brought along). We ate very well indeed.

🍺 Enjoying a beer out on the balcony and slowly relaxing into weekend mode. Soaking up all this sunshine before it’s gone!

🍜 Found a fab little ramen place minutes from my hotel. Had a delicious bowl of Tonkotsu ramen and a heaping dish of Takoyaki 🐙

🍽️ I am full of delicious roast chicken. There’s nothing like the roast dinner your own mother makes for you!

🌶️ Cooking up a big pot of my chilli con carne for this evening’s dinner. It’s been a while since I made it and we both fancied something spicy!

🍕 Enjoyed some phenomenal pizza and delicious beer at Crate Brewery last night. 10/10 would recommend.

📸 We enjoyed a bite or two last night. The most delicious prawns and some very pungent chorizo!

🍫 Took part in some market research earlier in the week and just received a massive box from Hotel Chocolate as a thank you.

A perfect start to the weekend!

🌶️ So glad I made a massive vat of chilli last night. It kept me going for hours while watching the election coverage, and today I can have delicious leftovers for lunch. 🍛

🍺 Enjoyed a few hours wandering down the Bermondsey Beer Mile, sampling delicious beers and enjoying the sporadic sunshine.

I may have put too much red onion in my salad this evening… ☢️

✈️ Another glorious day in Tallinn.

So far, I’ve visited a naval museum, explored a submarine (yes, really!), pretended to be a sailor (and an admiral, obviously), visited a micro-brewery, tasted some more delicious Estonian beers, boarded an icebreaker, bought a brewery-themed baseball cap and explored a monument to Soviet ineptitude.

And all before 5pm.

Now back at our hotel for some free drinks and nibbles. A plan for the evening has yet to form, but I know we’ll get there in the end.

Europeans! You must visit Tallinn. It’s amazing.
